Job Title and Location Physical Therapist (Travel) – Winchester, Virginia Overview Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift length: 8 hours Employment type: Travel Responsibilities The Physical Therapist / PT will be responsible for assessment and direct patient care, including evaluating medical condition, functional capabilities, and limitations. The PT will develop and administer individualized treatment programs, set realistic goals, document patient progress, and educate patients and families on appropriate therapy methods. Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to achieve therapy goals. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient. Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus NPTE certification. Graduated from an accredited school. Minimum one year of experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or in the process of obtaining licensure. Current CPR certification. Other client facility requirements as applicable.
