Benefits Competitive Compensation: Commensurate with experience Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the 1st of the month Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage 401(k) Retirement Plan Generous PTO: 3 weeks PTO, 2 floating holidays, plus 10 paid company holidays Career Growth: Clear path for advancement within a growing organization Industry Impact: Work alongside a skilled team supporting major defense and shipbuilding programs including Electric Boat and Newport News Shipbuilding Job Details Key Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate CNC programs Create, set up, and test CNC programs for machining equipment, ensuring precision and efficiency Optimize machining processes to improve cycle times, reduce waste, and maintain tight tolerances Troubleshoot programming and machining issues that arise during production and implement effective solutions Ensure all work complies with quality and safety standards Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and cross-functional team members to meet production goals Qualifications Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, including working knowledge of G-code Experience with CAD/CAM software Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and improving machining processes Solid understanding of machining, tooling, and material handling techniques Attention to detail and familiarity with quality assurance and safety standards Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
