Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Concord, North Carolina. This position provides nursing care for high-risk antepartum, labor, immediate postpartum, triage, and pregnancy-related complications. The role supports labor management, cesarean section procedures, newborn resuscitation, and comprehensive maternal care in a collaborative clinical environment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with labor management, cesarean section circulation, preoperative and post-anesthesia care, triage, newborn resuscitation, Pitocin management, and epidural management.
• Schedule: Night shifts with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shift times are 6:45 PM7:30 AM. Weekend rotation is every other weekend; no call is required, and holiday participation is expected.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Provides care for high-risk antepartum, active labor, immediate postpartum, triage, preeclampsia, pregnancy-related hypertension disorders, and other pregnancy and delivery complications. Responsibilities include labor management, cesarean section support, triage, newborn resuscitation, and medication and epidural management. The role works with obstetric providers, anesthesia professionals, respiratory therapy, intensivist support, phlebotomy, intravenous therapy services, scrub technicians, and charge nurse coverage. Unit orientation includes departmental training and neonatal care education.
