Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical unit working night shifts. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all clinical and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret telemetry, arrhythmias, and other cardiac conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments for stroke, orthopedic post-op, and breast surgery patients.
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies such as pneumothorax and chest tube issues.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including RTO and documentation deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Medical Surgical units.
• Demonstrated ability to read and recognize arrhythmias, strokes, and orthopedic post-op conditions.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience with telemetry, hysterectomies, breast surgeries, pneumothorax, and chest tubes.
• Flexibility for shifts and adherence to compliance and scheduling policies.
