MRI Technologist (PRN)

Seeking a MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with independence, technical proficiency, and patient care excellence. Responsibilities include obtaining clinical histories, preparing and positioning patients, administering contrast safely, ensuring image quality, and maintaining equipment. The role requires excellent communication skills to explain procedures, address patient concerns, and collaborate with healthcare teams. Additional duties involve equipment maintenance, quality control, patient transportation, and supporting department operations. Qualifications include certification as an ARMRIT or ARRT-MR, Basic Life Support certification, and at least one year of clinical experience, preferably in MRI. The candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and safety protocols. Must adhere to hospital policies, maintain professionalism, and participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives.
