Associate Attorney - Personal Injury

We're a small, hard-working team, and we're looking for an early-career attorney who wants to help build something, not just fill a seat. You'll work directly with firm leadership, have a voice in firm policies, and take real ownership of clients and cases from day one.The Role You'll manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution, working closely with our attorneys and case management team. Prior PI experience is a plus but not required. We'll train the right person.What You'll DoManage a caseload of personal injury matters from initial evaluation through settlement or litigationKeep clients informed and help them understand their options and case statusEvaluate liability, damages, insurance coverage, and evidence, including medical records, bills, wage-loss documentation, photos, and police reportsResearch and apply South Carolina law to case-specific issuesDraft demand letters, pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and settlement documentsNegotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense counselSupport trial preparation, and take the lead on depositions, mediations, and hearings as your experience growsManage cases in Filevine and new leads in LeadDocketHelp improve our processes as the firm scalesWhat You BringJ.D. from an accredited law schoolLicensed in South Carolina, or eligible for SC admission1–5 years of legal experienceStrong research, writing, analytical, and communication skillsExcellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple cases and deadlinesComfort communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjustersEagerness to learn and take on increasing responsibility in a fast-paced environmentNice to HavePersonal injury experience xhyhwjd Westlaw or LexisNexis proficiencyExperience with Filevine, LeadDocket, or similar systems (training provided)What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience, plus commissionPaid time offHands-on personal injury litigation experienceDirect mentorship from firm leadershipTraining and support for early-career attorneysReal room to grow as the firm expandsWho We're Looking For Someone smart, hungry, dependable, and willing to work hard, who cares deeply about injured clients and wants to grow with us.
