Registered Nurse Oncology Pediatric

Job Summary:

Seeking a Pediatric Oncology/Infusion Clinic RN to provide specialized care for pediatric oncology patients. The nurse will administer chemotherapy, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality treatment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer chemotherapy and monitor pediatric oncology patients throughout treatment.
  
  
• 
  Evaluate patient responses and manage adverse reactions promptly.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and caregivers to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital policies.
  
  
• 
  Float between two departments based on facility needs, providing flexible support.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of experience in Pediatric Oncology or MedSurg.
  
  
• 
  Certify BLS, PALS, and APHON pediatric oncology competencies.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience in monitoring and administering chemotherapy.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work 8a-4:30p shifts, five days per week.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong clinical skills in pediatric oncology nursing.
