Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
Administer chemotherapy and monitor pediatric oncology patients throughout treatment.
Evaluate patient responses and manage adverse reactions promptly.
Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records.
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and caregivers to develop and implement care plans.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital policies.
Float between two departments based on facility needs, providing flexible support.
Qualifications:
Hold a South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
Possess at least 2 years of experience in Pediatric Oncology or MedSurg.
Certify BLS, PALS, and APHON pediatric oncology competencies.
Demonstrate experience in monitoring and administering chemotherapy.
Be able to work 8a-4:30p shifts, five days per week.
Exhibit strong clinical skills in pediatric oncology nursing.
