A rewarding Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity awaits in a supportive K-12 school environment near Jordan, NY. This contract role spans the 2025–2026 academic year, from September through June, serving primarily elementary students, with some involvement with high schoolers. As part of a dynamic educational team, you’ll be instrumental in guiding approximately 28 students toward improved communication and academic success.

Your expertise will shine as you perform comprehensive assessments, design individualized therapy plans, and deliver targeted interventions. A collaborative approach is essential—ongoing communication with teachers, staff, and families makes a significant difference in each student’s journey. Your participation in IEP meetings and commitment to progress monitoring ensures every student receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
• Experience with school-aged children preferred
• Proven communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with IEP processes and educational guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed speech and language evaluations
• Provide direct therapy sessions customized to each student's needs
• Work in conjunction with school personnel to implement strategies and supports
• Track and document student progress, modifying plans as needed
• Actively engage in IEP meetings, setting meaningful goals
• Share resources and support with parents and caregivers
