Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU (Travel)

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients ranging from stable feeder growers through critical Level 3 patients
• Manage patient assignments at ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 depending on patient acuity
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
• Float to assist in other areas of the facility as needed, without taking a primary assignment in other units
• Participate in a two-shift (12-hour) orientation upon start

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required
• NICU Level 3 experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Valid driver's license required for submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR system
• Comfort and flexibility with block scheduling arrangements
