Marketing Assistant (Cincinnati)

Cincinnati, OH | Full-Time | On-Site | Entry Level

A good campaign needs more than attention. It needs a clear conversation.

At Kinetic Marketing Ohio, that conversation is where your work begins.

As a Marketing Assistant, you'll represent client campaigns face-to-face at retail and event locations throughout the Cincinnati area. You'll approach prospective customers or supporters, introduce campaigns, answer questions, build rapport, and help interested people complete sign-ups or registrations.

This is active, customer-facing marketing and acquisition work. You'll work alongside a team, contribute to individual and team performance goals, and gain practical experience in how campaigns turn conversations into results.

Learn the Work. Build Your Skills.

You don't need previous marketing or sales experience to get started.

We provide hands-on training, ongoing mentorship, and feedback to help you learn campaign messaging, develop stronger communication skills, and become more confident engaging with different people.

You'll learn how to represent campaigns professionally, listen to customers, explain information clearly, and work toward measurable goals.

Where Could This Lead?

The first priority is learning the role and becoming consistent in your performance.

As your skills develop, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities, support newer teammates, and build coaching experience.

Employees who demonstrate strong results, reliability, and leadership potential may also be considered for future opportunities in team leadership or campaign management, depending on available positions and business needs.

Progression is based on performance and readiness, not a guaranteed promotion timeline.

What You'll Bring

We're interested in people who:

• Communicate clearly and listen carefully
• Enjoy working with people in an active environment
• Are reliable, professional, and willing to learn
• Respond positively to coaching and feedback
• Are comfortable working toward individual and team goals
• Enjoy contributing to a collaborative team

Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, events, sales, or another people-facing role can be useful, but it isn't required.

What You Can Expect

• Weekly base pay plus performance-based incentives, including commissions
• Full-time, on-site work in the Cincinnati area
• Hands-on training and ongoing mentorship
• Practical experience in face-to-face marketing, customer engagement, and acquisition
• A collaborative environment with regular coaching and feedback
• Performance-based professional development and potential opportunities for greater responsibility

This is an in-person role focused on direct public engagement, rather than digital marketing, social media management, or office-based marketing administration.
