About the RoleAs a Sanitation Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing sanitation operations within a high-volume food manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role ensures that all production areas, equipment, and facility spaces meet strict cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.The Sanitation Supervisor, partners closely with Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure sanitation schedules are executed effectively, food safety standards are maintained, and the facility remains compliant with regulatory and internal sanitation requirements.This role operates within a manufacturing and warehouse environment where associates work around production equipment, sanitation chemicals, and fast-paced operational workflows. Strict adherence to safety, sanitation, and food safety standards is required.Role DetailsPay Rate: $27.50Overnight shifts include an additional $2.00/hour premium, automatically applied to any hours worked between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AMJob Location: SwedesboroPosition type: Full-TimeResponsibilitiesSupervise daily sanitation operations including cleaning production equipment, facility areas, floors, drains, and high-touch surfacesOversee all daily, weekly, and quarterly sanitation activity and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasksEnsure sanitation activities are completed safely and in compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and sanitation proceduresConduct sanitation inspections, pre-operational checks, and maintain sanitation logs and compliance documentationMonitor sanitation chemical usage, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), cleaning equipment, and facility readiness while escalating contamination or maintenance concernsLead and train sanitation associates on cleaning procedures, chemical safety, operational expectations, and policy complianceCoordinate sanitation schedules with Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to minimize operational disruption and maintain facility standardsCommunicate sanitation risks, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities to leadership while supporting continuous improvement initiativesMaintain a strong floor presence to support sanitation operations and resolve issues in real timeReinforce sanitation procedures, food safety standards, and chemical safety complianceCoach associates on sanitation best practices, accountability, and operational disciplineComplete other duties as assignedQualifications1+ years of supervisory or related leadership experience working in, but not limited to, a restaurant, hotel, or large facility environmentExperience supervising or leading team members6+ months of experience using technology such as smart phones and tablets, inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting informationKnowledge of sanitation procedures, chemical handling, and safety protocolsUnderstanding of food safety standards including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Strong organizational and communication skillsAbility to operate sanitation equipment a plusExperience with sanitation verification programs or audit preparation preferredExperience in food manufacturing, commissary kitchens, or distribution environments preferredAbility to follow safety protocol and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirementsAbility to work effectively in team environmentsRequirements18 years old and legally authorized to work in the USComfortable working in various temperatures including cold environments (34-40 degrees Fahrenheit depending on site) and occasional freezer temperatures that can range anywhere from 0-10 degrees FahrenheitAble to lift, pull, and push 50 pounds of weight by oneselfAble to stand a full shift while workingAbility to perform repetitive tasks including bending, reaching, and squattingAbility to read and comprehend safety policies and operational manuals in English; ability to communicate effectively with team members and follow verbal instructions to ensure a safe and productive work environmentAble to work evenings and weekends*This list of qualifications and requirements also reflects the qualifications and requirements used as vetting criteria for our AEDT (Automated Employment Decision Tool)BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance100% employer-paid Life Insurance401K Retirement PlanEmployer match for Health Savings Account (HSA)1.5x Pay rate on company holidaysLearning and Development opportunities to advance your careerEmployee StockEmployee DiscountNote: Some of our benefits vary by state and depend on the number of hours you work.About WonderEverything’s on the menu at Wonder.
