Director, Technical Program Management - Bank Tech

Role Overview Director of Technical Program Management – Bank Tech. Lead programs that deliver critical business goals and build large‑scale products and platforms. Key Responsibilities Build highly scalable platforms, products, or services. Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery life‑cycle. Communicate and collaborate with product, engineering, design, and data science teams. Implement solutions as a systems thinker and simplify complex problems. Grow and develop a team of TPMs while building the foundations of the TPM practice. Drive execution, follow‑through, accountability, and results. Collaborate across functions and reporting boundaries to get the job done. Demonstrate emotional intelligence, listening, and empathy. Qualifications Basic: Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of experience managing technical programs. Preferred: 7+ years designing and building data‑intensive solutions using distributed computing. 3+ years building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing (preferably AWS). 3+ years building highly scalable mobile products and platforms. 3+ years experience with Agile delivery and large complex programs. Experience in a highly regulated environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. MBA or Master’s degree (optionally). Employment Information Salary is competitively determined based on location and role level. This position may include performance‑based incentive compensation.
