Step into a vital, rewarding role supporting students’ mobility and independence! A full-time, contract Physical Therapist is needed to serve Pre-K through 12th grade across multiple school sites within an engaging district near Bonita Springs, FL. This is an on-site position, allowing you to make meaningful, in-person connections with students and faculty throughout the academic year.

In this itinerant role, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other clinicians to address various mobility needs and functional challenges. The role runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering up to 37.5 hours weekly.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapist license through the Florida Department of Health
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites (reliable transportation required)
• Up-to-date fingerprinting as required by Florida regulations (assistance will be provided with clearance or JLA badge procedures)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct therapeutic interventions to students in PreK–12
• Maintain accurate records, session notes, and progress reports
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals
• Educate families and staff on activities/strategies for student success
• Adapt and modify therapy plans based on student progress and needs
