Accountant 3 Bartlett Regional Hospital is looking for an Accountant 3 to join our General Accounting team. Internal Offers: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on applicable personnel rules or union contract terms. Job Summary: The Accountant 3 performs advanced, complex accounting functions and provides leadership for the organization’s accounting team. Oversees daily operations in collaboration with the Controller, including payroll and A/P accounting, audit preparation, and cost report workpapers. Leads process improvements and staff development initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associates degree in accounting or finance. Substitution: Experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis. Preferred Education: Bachelors degree in accounting or finance. Experience: Two (2) years of professional-level accounting, budgeting, or financial management experience. Substitution: Bachelors degree in accounting or finance and one (1) year of professional-level accounting experience. Preferred Experience: Previous experience in healthcare finance. License(s): None Certification(s): None Practice Notices: All new employees are required to produce a negative drug screen for all substances illegal in the State of Alaska prior to start of employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
