Located in Moraine, OH Salary: $17-$19hr. Express Employment Professionals Dayton South is now hiring a CNC Operator in Moraine, OH at $17-$19hr. based on experience. Key Responsibilities- Machine Operation & Setup: Load feed mechanisms, install cutting tools, and operate programmed mills and lathes to produce parts according to design specifications
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret mechanical drawings, orthographic drawings, and CAD/CAM files
- Quality Control: Measure components using precision instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, and snap gauges to verify tolerances
- Monitoring: Oversee the machine's feed and speed during operation, adjusting offsets and changing dull inserts to prevent errors
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform daily equipment cleaning, maintain fluid levels, and adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in CNC machining are highly preferred
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, basic algebra and geometry skills, and the ability to read complex blueprints
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift materials weighing up to 75 pounds
