Financial Analyst, Margin Accounting
AbbVie
Financial Analyst role focused on margin accounting and inventory cost management in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include validating automated margin calculations, reconciling costing data, and coordinating process improvements across global operations.
Responsibilities
- Validate worldwide consolidated inventory costs and margin-related journal entries monthly
- Monitor robotic process automation for SAP margin posting and investigate variances
- Coordinate costing program changes with Business Technology Solutions including testing and interface updates
- Resolve product and SKU-level margin issues in partnership with cross-functional affiliates
- Perform ad hoc analyses and support process improvement projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Proficient Excel skills; SAP experience preferred
- Cost accounting experience in manufacturing highly desirable
- Supply chain finance operations experience desired
- Minimum 2+ years of progressive related experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
