Role Overview: As a Companion Caregiver / HHA at Assisting Hands Central New Jersey, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to our clients during various shifts. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients. You will work on-site in Robert Wood Johnson Hospital New Brunswick, New Jersey, contributing to the quality of life for those in your care. Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized care based on clients' specific needs. Engage clients in meaningful conversations and social interactions to foster emotional well-being. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and report any changes to the caregiving team. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality care and ensure a supportive environment for clients. Qualifications: You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Must have a valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) Compassionate and patient demeanor towards clients. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field. Bonus If You: Have additional training in elderly care or special needs support. Possess CPR and First Aid certifications. Are familiar with using mobility assistance devices. Employment Type & Availability: This is a 12 shift nights, 10pm - 10am, with possible relocation to a rehab facility. Client is flexible with shift times. Location: This position is on-site in RJW Hospital New Brunswick, New Jersey with possible relocation to a rehab facility.
