Location: Hayward, CA area
Facility Type: Post-Acute / Skilled Nursing
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week
No Weekends
Pay: $44–$49 per hour

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a supportive post-acute care team in the Hayward, CA area . This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a steady Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends .

The COTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve independence, daily living skills, strength, coordination, and overall functional ability.

• Provide occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Follow individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist

• Assist patients with improving daily living skills, mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and independence

• Support patients with therapeutic activities and functional tasks

• Document patient progress accurately and timely

• Communicate patient updates with the supervising OT and care team

• Educate patients and caregivers as appropriate

• Follow all facility, state, and federal guidelines

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Skilled nursing, post-acute, rehab, long-term care, or geriatric experience preferred

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused

• Ability to work well independently and as part of an interdisciplinary care team

• Active California Occupational Therapy Assistant license required

• NBCOT COTA certification required

• CPR/BLS certification preferred required

• Must be able to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• $44–$49 per hour

• 35 hours per week

• Monday–Friday

• No weekends

• Permanent full-time position
