An active TS/SCI clearance is required.Qualified candidates should be adept at effectively organizing and executing analytic studies within a team of analysts containing skills spanning a range of disciplines. Experience and familiarity with the space domain and the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) is required.Responsibilities:Utilizing studies and analyses, specifically a strong background in mission-level modeling and simulation, the analyst will make recommendations regarding the military utility, feasibility, joint warfighter impacts of the concepts and capabilities under studyAbility to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectivesThe analyst will work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, or an Engineering discipline5+ years of experience Experience conducting modeling, simulation, and analyses with AFSIMExperience in DoD space and/or joint force programsHigh motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environmentAbility to work well as part of a teamStrong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze dataAn active TS/SCI clearance Preferred Skills and Experience:Master's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, or an Engineering disciplineExperience with more highly aggregated, campaign-level and/or defense enterprise-level analysis toolsExperience with Python, OptDef, MATLAB, R, SAS, JMP, and/or JavaExperience with data transformations and data visualizationExperience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and MySQL or other relational databasesExperience with BI ToolsExperience with Excel VBAWork Environment:Location: On-siteTravel Requirements: Minimal (0-10%)Working Hours: Normal business hours Compensation:For Colorado only, the salary range for this position is approximately $130,000 - $140,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Other Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
