Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Acute Care Duration: Temporary Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Documented medical/telemetry experience required License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Checklist Description: 32-bed unit with adult/older adult population. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5. Responsible for trauma patients, heparin drips, and all acute medications as ordered. Familiarity with electronic medical records required. Specialty equipment used includes gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment. Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or prior NICHE training is a plus.
