Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Therapist is a dedicated licensed clinician practicing in the WFHC Fort Pierce location. As a vital member of our organization, the role will have the opportunity to make meaningful impact on the lives of clients through the provision of high-quality outpatient mental health counseling and therapeutic services. The Behavioral Health department serves clients ages 6 and older.

Key Responsibilities

Provide therapeutic services in accordance with best practices, to referred clients seeking counseling for a wide range of emotional and behavioral health concerns.
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Current State of Florida Licensure as Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LCSW or equivalent)
Master's degree in counseling or related field.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based therapies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Level 2 background clearance and required immunizations (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, PPD).

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $70,000 - $73,000
