ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN)Location: Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 Employment Type: Full-Time Openings: 7 PositionsHiring ICU Registered Nurses (ICU RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Telemetry environment. The RN will deliver direct nursing care consistent with CVMC standards of practice and AACN guidelines, supporting critically ill patients through comprehensive monitoring, assessment, intervention, and coordination with interdisciplinary care teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU/Telemetry settingPerform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plansMonitor and interpret patient vitals, cardiac rhythms, lab values, and clinical condition changesAdminister medications, IV drips, blood products, and other treatments per protocolsOperate and troubleshoot critical care equipment (IV pumps, ventilators, monitors, etc.)Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teamsDocument all patient care in the EMR accurately and timelyEducate patients and family members on plan of care and treatment expectationsEnsure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital policiesParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional nursing standardsMust-Have RequirementsEducation: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) – Required License: Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License – Required Experience: 1–2 years of RN experience required (ICU/Telemetry preferred)Preferred / Nice-to-HavePrior ICU, Critical Care, or Telemetry nursing experienceACLS certification (if not required, highly preferred)Strong critical thinking and rapid response ability in acute settingsAbility to work independently and as part of a high-performing teamCore Skills & CompetenciesICU / Critical care nursingTelemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretationPatient assessment & clinical judgementEmergency response and escalation of careMedication administration & IV therapyStrong communication and interdisciplinary teamworkCompassionate, patient-centered care delivery
