Project Manager

I’m working with a leading General Contractor delivering large-scale hyperscale data center projects across North Texas. They are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of major data center projects from preconstruction through construction, commissioning, and turnover. This is a 100% travel position which offers a rotation. Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall delivery of large-scale data center projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations are achieved. Manage project teams including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners. Take ownership of project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, procurement, change management, and risk mitigation. Lead preconstruction activities including estimating, constructability reviews, value engineering, subcontractor procurement, scope development, and project planning. Coordinate all major construction disciplines including structural, architectural, mechanical, MEP, civil, site development, and mission‑critical systems. Manage subcontractor performance, contract negotiations, change orders, schedule commitments, quality, and overall project execution. Work closely with the owner, design team, consultants, subcontractors, and internal field teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum. Drive project scheduling, coordination, reporting, commissioning, closeout, and final turnover. Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Ideal Background: 5+ years of Project Management experience with a leading General Contractor. Strong preference for candidates with hyperscale data center experience. Experience managing projects valued at $100M+ from preconstruction through completion. Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contracts, procurement, change management, risk, and subcontractor management. Experience working on greenfield data center developments is highly preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage large project teams and multiple stakeholders.
