ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Carry out a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, light electrical, masonry plaster and office fixtures/equipment installation among others. Perform work involving maintenance/craft skills to carry out general maintenance including building and site repairs, fencing, painting, floor and wall tiling, cleaning footpaths, rubbish and recycling bins, etc. Deal with general items of repair and maintenance in the interior and exterior of the building: putting up shelves, changing light bulbs, moving furniture, cleaning lamp shades, cleaning windows. Carry out routine checks, repairs and maintenance of site equipment, and the exterior of the building. EDUCATIONAL or EQUIVALENT REQUIREMENTS Technical College Degree preferred. High school diploma with 2+ years of Facilities experience required or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
