With prior manager approval, may submit expense for reimbursement for work-related travel (mileage).Equipment Provided: Client will provide laptop, cellphone, and PPE if needed.Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Job Summary:This position supports the Wildfire Ignition Safety and Execution (WISE) program, which is responsible for driving full compliance of utility standard EMER-4102S, "Preventing and Mitigating Fires While Performing Work." The standard defines mitigations that must be applied before starting any work to prevent fires under various conditions, adapting daily work practices to changing ignition potential. The position will translate complex procedural information based on business requirements and standards into user-friendly references such as policies and procedures, user manuals, and job aids. It collaborates with and gathers information from internal and external clients to develop documentation that is easy to understand and use, and supports field inquiries regarding policy interpretations. The position performs document editing, editing written materials prepared by other writers, document lifecycle management, basic web setup, and document publishing.
