Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide essential therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). The successful candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the OT plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in educating patients and their families regarding therapy goals and techniques.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising OT regularly.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
