Part-Time Orthodontic Assistant

We understand what a significant difference in health and self-esteem a beautiful smile can make, which is why we are dedicated to giving each of our patients the smile they deserve!This is a part-time position Wednesday-Friday, and may be required on select Mondays.Who We Are Looking For:Willing to contribute to the common goal of creating a great experience for our patient.Positive and willingness to grow.Ambitious and go-getter attitude.Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is a team player.Eagerness to learn and provide extraordinary care to our patients.Reliable and dedicated to making a positive impact.Responsibilities:Present the patient to the doctor.Take, expose, and develop digital radiographs (panoramic).Record and maintain clinical notes in the patient chart.Provide hygiene and diet education.Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office.Take impressions.Schedule follow-up exams.Sanitize dental chairs and operatory rooms.Parent consults-discuss treatment plans/if chairsideClean and sterilize instruments.Equipment maintenanceLab work.Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area.Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.Write letters to be sent to referrals.Participate in office community service projects.Other duties as assigned by Clinic Coordinator, Office Manager, Practice Administrator, or DentistsEpic Orthodontics participates in E-Verify.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
