We are seeking an experienced dependable Medical Front Office Assistant to become a part of our team! Clinic hiring is Dermatology.

IMMEDIATE START!!

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Telephone: direct calls and/or take messages according to office policy
• Scheduling: responsible for the scheduling of established, and new, patient appointments, follow up appointments, return visits, and nurse visits
• Enter and maintain correct patient data in computer system
• Patient Check In: greet patients upon arrival, verify patient information, and collection of copays, co-insurance. and balances on accounts
• Patient Check Out: address patient inquiries upon departure, schedule return visit and post office charges daily
• Responsible for electronic insurance verification with computing patient financial responsibility
• Scanning patient records
• Nightly closing/balancing
• General medical office responsibilities shared among all the employees.
• Hours: 8am to different end-of-shift times.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of recent experience in the medical field
• Bilingual in Spanish a MAJOR PLUS!
