Company Overview Jefferson Radiology, founded in 1963, is the largest radiology practice group in Connecticut, operating ten imaging centers across central Connecticut and partnering with multiple regional hospitals. Position Summary Coordinate physician workflow for Jefferson outpatient sites and perform administrative tasks related to image‑reading efficiency. Organize workflows to maximize radiologist productivity and efficiency. Monitor work lists for exams performed, assigning STAT and subspecialty exams to appropriate radiologists for timely reading and ensuring coverage during lunch breaks. Coordinate with other Physician Support Associates (PSAs) to assign subspecialty reads. Review radiologists’ daily work schedules and communicate exams, procedures, STATs, and meetings to avoid workflow conflicts. Desired Professional Skills and Experience High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of medical office experience, preferably in radiology. Experience working directly with physician schedules or facilitating physician flow is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology specialties. Excellent customer‑service orientation and professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and computer proficiency (including Microsoft Excel). Compensation The hourly rate ranges from $20 to $23, with final determination based on factors such as education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
