Opportunity Physician - Internal Medicine - Rheumatology Job Details Provide rheumatology services with ability to float between 2 locations Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule See approximately 15 patient encounters per shift Must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine - Rheumatology Fellowship training in rheumatology required BLS certification required Experience with arthrocentesis and joint/soft tissue injections required Preferred skills include tissue biopsy, microscopic specimen evaluation, arthroscopy, diagnostic/therapeutic taps, thoracentesis, bone mineral density studies, management of vascular access devices, familiarity with intravenous therapies, EMG, and NCV Locum tenens assignment with estimated 21-day credentialing timeframe Facility This comprehensive specialty center is part of a large integrated healthcare system that provides specialized medical services across multiple locations.
