Radiology Technologist

Under the supervision of the Department Director and Radiology Supervisor, and in conjunction with radiologists, this position entails executing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures while adhering to age-specific protocols and departmental standards. The role encompasses responsibilities as a customer service liaison for patients, their families, the general public, and medical staff. Key functions include participation in quality control initiatives and organizational improvement activities. This position also serves as a technical and clinical mentor for junior radiologic technologists in the department. The technologist will engage in a call rotation to fulfill the department's staffing requirements and may be required to travel to off-site locations to perform radiographic or fluoroscopic procedures when necessary. Required Qualifications Education/Training: Graduation from a radiologic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association. California Radiologic Technologist certification required upon hire. Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required upon hire. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a hospital-based radiographer is highly desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
