Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Albuquerque, NM 87102 Start Date: September 14, 2026 Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage required (6 weekend shifts per schedule period). Patient ratio 1:2. Highlights: First-time travelers welcome with 1.5 years of ICU experience 32-bed intensive care unit serving adult patient population Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy 24-hour orientation provided with additional onsite module training Pending New Mexico or Compact state license accepted (must be obtained prior to start date) Float opportunities to medical-surgical, stepdown, PCU, emergency department, and CVICU (capped at 4 patients maximum while floating) Requirements: Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact state) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with ICU background Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NIHSS required Experience with 1:2 patient ratios Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction Must reside outside 50-mile local radius Ability to complete required labs within 48 business hours of contract signing Why Join Us?
