Role Overview As a Client Service Specialist on the Commercial Lines team, you will support the service and production team in reaching overall agency revenue and retention goals by processing new and renewal business, updating and maintaining client information in the client management system, addressing and resolving client questions and issues, escalating complex issues, providing clients with information and assembling proposals and other presentations, assisting in preparation of new and renewal proposals, stewardship reports, service plans, and comparisons, and maintaining daily client processing functions such as endorsements, policies, audits, pending cancellations, and ID cards. Responsibilities Process new and renewal business Update and maintain client information in the client management system Address and resolve client questions and issues Escalate complex issues Provide clients with information, including plan details, rates, and contributions Assemble proposals and other presentations Assist in preparation of new and renewal proposals, stewardship reports, service plans, and comparisons Maintain daily client processing functions such as endorsements, policies, audits, pending cancellations, and ID cards Qualifications Minimum level of experience and production capacity to service a midsize book of business High school diploma or equivalent Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational and project skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) Responsiveness, urgency, and professionalism in all matters Prioritize work to meet timely completion of critical and sensitive activities Quick response to client requests and ability to provide appropriate information Accountability for the quality of work Insurance license (preferred) Five years of industry specific experience (preferred) LOB designations (preferred) College or advanced degree (preferred) Benefits Stock purchase opportunities Generous time off, including personal and volunteering Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities Hybrid Work / Remote work Charitable contribution match programs Company Values We embrace a culture that celebrates and promotes the many backgrounds, heritages and perspectives of our colleagues and clients.
