Associate Program Director

Northwell Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join their team as an Associate Program Director at the Family Medicine Residency Program at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, NY. This role involves shaping the educational curriculum, managing the program, and ensuring compliance with ACGME regulations. The Associate Program Director will also supervise residents and trainees, provide patient care, and coordinate subspecialty rotations.

• It is a non-for-profit 144-bed community hospital serving over 250,000 residents.
• The facility provides the service areas only Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Suite, Level III Trauma Center, and NYUS-Designated Stroke Center.

Responsibilities

• Shape the educational curriculum of the Family Medicine Residency Program.
• Assist in the day-to-day management of the program.
• Ensure the program follows all regulations of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
• Supervise residents and other trainees, including medical students.
• Care for patients under the auspices of the Department.
• Coordinate and schedule subspecialty rotations.
• Coordinate and oversee participation by faculty in the outpatient curriculum.
• Serve on Hospital committees and perform other medical staff and administrative functions as required. xihmbke

Compensation

• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.
