Job Details Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Location: Franklin, Indiana Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy Experience in physical therapy (New grads are welcome to apply) Other certifications or licenses may be required Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Work closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management techniques. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols and regulatory standards. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home‑based settings. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding written and verbal instructions. Proficiency in PC skills. Physical abilities: stationary position, moving equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend. Interpersonal skills: work effectively with diverse personnel. Technical/motor skills: grasp, fine manipulation, assist with procedures. Mental requirements: cope with public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with or without supervision.
