Aircraft Technician Level A

Job Description Airbus Helicopters is looking for an A&P mechanic to join our Maintenance & Repair (MAR) team based in Grand Prairie, TX. Duties include understanding the methods and procedures used to perform detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems, maintaining or refurbishing aircraft and performing functional checks of components. The role also involves diagnosing malfunctions or failures and making adjustments, repairs or replacements of parts or components. Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components. Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions or failures on aircraft systems including equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, and power plant/engine controls. Ensure completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications. Qualifications Minimum of four (4) years of aviation maintenance experience. Some experience may be substituted for education normally acquired in the attainment of an A&P certificate. Current FAA A&P license. Helicopter maintenance experience preferred but not required. Citizenship: U.S. Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under existing ITAR license).
