Salary: $22.00 - $25.00/per hour

The Children's Center is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Summer Camp Counselor to join our team!

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in elementary education or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of experience working with children. This role requires a positive attitude, group management skills, and the ability to engage and inspire a group of 15-20 campers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a group of 15-20 campers, ensuring a safe, fun, and educational camp experience.
• Plan, organize, and implement daily activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical activity.
• Foster a positive and inclusive camp environment, encouraging teamwork and respect among campers.
• Maintain constant supervision of campers during all activities, both indoors and outdoors.
  
• Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff, providing updates on camper progress and any incidents.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in elementary education or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with children in a professional setting.
• Strong leadership and group management skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand and be physically active throughout the day.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must pass a background check and provide references.
• Must be available to work the full duration of the summer camp program.
