Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery travel assignment requiring 2+ years of L&D experience, C-section circulator skills, and an active NJ or compact RN license. Requirements Active NJ or Compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required Must be able to circulate for C-sections SSN and DOB required for consideration Two current professional references required for consideration Responsibilities Night shift position working 3x12.5‑hour shifts (19:30–06:30) Labor & Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting Unit serves an average daily census of approximately 19 patients across 26 rooms and beds, covering Antepartum, L&D, GYN, and Postpartum/Nursery Patient ratio is 1:2 Floating required to Antepartum, Postpartum, and PACU based on unit needs Every other weekend required based on unit needs No on‑call responsibilities Charting system is Epic; Pyxis used for medication management Provides nursing care across Labor & Delivery, with float coverage to Antepartum, Postpartum, and PACU as needed Blue scrubs are provided by the facility All requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being extended Local candidates are accepted Former RWJBH staff (full‑time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-727133 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
