Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role located in Enid, OK. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessments, wound care, medication administration, and monitoring of symptoms and recovery progress in the home setting. Responsibilities include developing and updating individualized care plans, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and documenting all care in accordance with regulatory and agency standards. The nurse will educate patients and caregivers on disease management, post-surgical care, medication use, and lifestyle changes that support long-term health. The role also involves identifying changes in patient condition, responding promptly to urgent needs, and promoting a safe, supportive environment for healing. Qualifications Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities, with experience in post-surgical or acute care preferred. Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care in a home or community setting. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for patient visits, as needed. Solid documentation and organizational skills, including familiarity with electronic health records. Basic life support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS) are a plus. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing patient needs. Previous home health or community nursing experience is beneficial but not required.
