Customer Operations Coordinator

Job Title: Customer Operations Coordinator Location: Boise, ID Wage Range: $20.50 - $25 What You’ll Be Doing: Provide temporary, ongoing, and project-based support across different operational teams based on business needs, workload, and staffing coverage. Learn the policies, procedures, systems, and workflows of multiple departments and transition between assignments with confidence and professionalism. Assist consumers, Accredited Businesses, and other stakeholders through phone, email, live chat, and other communication channels. Provide accurate, courteous, and neutral information while using empathy, active listening, and sound judgment during challenging or sensitive interactions. Create, review, and update BBB Business Profiles, customer records, case notes, and other documentation with a strong focus on accuracy and data quality. Support operational work that may include complaints and customer reviews, accreditation processes, research and investigations, customer success, billing, renewals, and account-related activities. Manage changing priorities, multiple work queues, deadlines, and service expectations while keeping leaders informed of workload concerns or potential barriers. Use Microsoft 365, CRM and case-management systems, reporting tools, and other technology to organize information and complete assigned work. Responsibly use BBB-approved AI-enabled tools for research, drafting, analysis, documentation, problem-solving, and process improvement while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and appropriate human oversight. Participate in cross-training, team meetings, coaching, and professional development to maintain readiness to support multiple areas of the organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust your approach for different audiences and situations. Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to balance changing priorities and multiple assignments. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate documentation and data quality. Sound judgment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, including knowing when to independently resolve an issue and when to upscale. Comfort using technology, including Microsoft Office applications, CRM or case-management systems, email, and web-based tools. A willingness to embrace new technology and responsibly use approved AI-enabled tools to work more efficiently and effectively. High school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bilingual fluency in Spanish. Experience supporting both customer-facing and administrative functions. Experience working across multiple departments or in a shared-services environment. Familiarity with CRM platforms, case-management systems, shared work queues, or database maintenance. Experience using Excel for reports, trackers, or operational data.
