JOB SUMMARY:

The Lead Housekeeper at Armada Recovery is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. This position ensures that all areas are kept clean, sanitary, and safe for clients, staff, and visitors. The Lead Housekeeper will supervise housekeeping staff, manage inventory of cleaning supplies, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None

Management Reporting Relationships:

Directly Reports to: Executive Director

Directly Supervises: N/A

 

DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

The duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

1) Housekeeping

· Ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained to high standards.

· Develop and implement cleaning schedules.

· Maintain records of cleaning activities and supplies.

· Address any housekeeping-related issues or complaints.

 

2) Supervision and Oversight

· Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff.

· Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas.

· Manage inventory and order cleaning supplies as needed.

· Train new housekeeping staff and provide ongoing training.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

 

3) Collaboration and Communication:

· Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

· Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with staff, clients, and visitors.

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

· Ability to understand, speak, read, write in English.

· Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence in English.

· Effectively speak before groups of customers or employees.

· Work all hours required to fulfill job duties and responsibilities (including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed).

· Ability to carry/lift boxes weighing between 10 and 25 pounds.

· Must be able to ascend and descend stairs regularly as part of daily job duties.

· Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

 

COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Armada Recovery employees are required to comply all state and federal regulatory and legal requirements. Additionally, all staff members must comply with the Armada Recovery Employee Handbook, any Code of Ethics and all other Armada Recovery policies.

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or equivalent

 

LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

· None

 

PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· At least 2-3 years of experience working in housekeeping, preferably in a behavioral healthcare or healthcare setting.
