Qualifications of a Tool and Die Machinist:

• 1 Year of Tool and Die experience required
• Experience Operate Manual/CNC Mills and Lathes used for Tool Making required
• JM Level Tool and Die experience preferred
• Wire EDM, CNC and Programming experience is a plus

Responsibilities of a Tool and Die Machinist:

• This role involves machining, repairing, and maintaining tooling used in manufacturing operations
• Responsibilities include operating manual and CNC mills and lathes, reading blueprints, setting up tooling and fixtures, machining tooling components, troubleshooting tooling issues, and supporting production
• Additional duties may include repairing dies, molds, fixtures, and tooling, operating wire EDM equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and making tooling improvements
• Work may involve CNC mills, CNC lathes, wire EDM machines, grinders, CAD/CAM software, precision measuring instruments, and other toolroom equipment used in manufacturing

You should be proficient in:

• CNC Programming
• CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
• Manual Machining Skills
• Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills
• Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)
• EDM Machine (Wire)
• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
• Manual Vertical Mill
