They make sure their machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with the required materials, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output. Primary Responsibilities:Set up and operate a Hydraulic Press/Punch for routine established workOperate heavy machinery such as ForkliftsPreventative maintenance (operator level) as neededReport and document basic material, production and quality control issuesUtilize time management skills resulting in productionResolve basic manufacturing issues or seek guidanceKnowledge and Skill Requirements:1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentMust have experience in metal press forming and basic fabricationExperience setting up a Hydraulic Press/PunchAbility to read and understand blueprintsUnderstands OD/IDAbility to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidanceExperience with Forklift and Overhead Crane
