Anesthesiologist Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension. Pay Rate: $340 - $345/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for an Anesthesiologist:

• Provide anesthesiology services in a hospital setting with 4 ORs, L&D, and Cath Lab
• Work a schedule of either 5x8-hour shifts or 2x8-hour shifts plus a 24-hour shift to total 40 hours per week, with schedule varying each week
• Participate in call coverage rotation in addition to day shifts
• Collaborate with support staff including CRNAs and Anesthesia Techs
• Manage an average of 10 patients per day, serving an adult-only patient population (no pediatrics)
• Demonstrate proficiency with regional blocks for orthopedic cases
• Utilize Epic (EMR) for clinical documentation and charting
• Maintain Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligibility (BE) in Anesthesiology
• Maintain active Pennsylvania (PA) state medical license
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Have a minimum of 1 year of anesthesiology experience
• Complete full credentialing/privileging compliance within the required timeframe
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
