A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

- Join our close-knit team of 4physicians and 2 APPs at Presbyterian Santa Fe.
- Work alongside a fantastic team of hospital medicine colleagues, providing an excellent variety of pathology.
- Our physicians are from all over the country, reflecting the unique and diverse environment.
- Board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ATLS and BLS.
- Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Full-time, 7 on/off schedule, 12-hour shifts.
- Rotate with the other physicians through days and nights.
- Open ICU-6 beds. Procedural skills are REQUIRED: Central lines, intubations, vent management, paracentesis, thoracentesis. **We can help train for arterial lines and small-bore chest tubes.
- The Hospitalist team is part of the rapid response team and responds to codes. The average census per doctor is 10-14.
- Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system.
- The capital city of Santa Fe is located near the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the Jemez Mountains. Santa Fe has a unique, rich culture shaped by a multicultural community. Known for its art scene, Santa Fe also attracts outdoorsmen with endless opportunities for hiking, golfing, biking, boating, and winter sports.
- Daytime shift rate: $1829, night shift Rate: $2109.
- Eligible for quality and productivity bonuses.
