Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery in adherence to standard operating procedures to ensure optimum production output.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machines to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the maintenance department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Lumbermill & rotator attachment experience preferred.
- Proven experience as a machine operator.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full time
Compensation: $18/hr. Production bonus available for some positions
Probation: Review after 90 days.
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm
Work Location: Clarence, NY
