This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and focuses on providing essential speech-language pathology services within a collaborative school environment. The position is centered on elementary grades 3-5 and extends to middle school students, ensuring a varied and rewarding caseload.

The school seeks a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) who is passionate about enabling students to achieve their communication goals. Full-time (35-37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday) is preferred, but there is flexibility for candidates seeking part-time arrangements. Your expertise will help shape individualized intervention plans and contribute to a supportive, multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Prior experience in a school setting, particularly with elementary and/or middle school students, is highly desirable
• Strong collaboration skills and an ability to work with teachers, parents, and other support staff
• Effective evaluation, diagnostic, and intervention abilities for speech and language disorders
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students in grades 3-5 and middle school
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to create supportive educational experiences
• Maintain detailed, compliant documentation and progress reports
• Take part in regular team and parent meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
