Schedule

This position offers a schedule of 3 × 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will assess, implement, and evaluate the care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about the principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN will collaborate with patients, their families, professional peers, and other members of the healthcare team to individualize patient care. Additionally, the RN will direct nursing support staff in providing patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, as well as administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and evaluating patient care needs.
• Implementing nursing care plans based on patient assessments.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to provide individualized care.
• Directing nursing support staff in the execution of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty is preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License is required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Multi-State Compact RN License is required.
