The Service Director serves as the face of the dining room, creating memorable experiences through genuine hospitality, relationship-building, and community engagement. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys connecting with residents, collaborating with building concierge teams, and creating opportunities for meaningful dining and social experiences. Success in this role comes from building trust, anticipating guest needs, cultivating community relationships, and driving participation in dining and event experiences. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position where the Service Director is expected to be an active presence on the floor, supporting service wherever needed while fostering exceptional resident experiences and growing private dining and event business. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary host and ambassador of the dining room, creating a welcoming and personalized experience for residents and guests. Build meaningful relationships with residents, becoming a trusted and familiar presence within the community. Develop strong partnerships with building concierge teams, property management, and community stakeholders to enhance the resident experience. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest communications with professionalism and attention to detail. Maintain an active presence in the dining room, ensuring guests feel recognized, valued, and cared for throughout their visit. Anticipate guest preferences and coordinate personalized service experiences that create loyalty and connection. Lead by example through hands-on service, stepping in as needed to pour wine, craft cocktails, deliver dishes, assist with table service, or support the team during busy periods. Serve as an extension of the service team, ensuring guests experience seamless hospitality from arrival through departure. Coach, mentor, schedule, and support front-of-house team members, fostering a culture of hospitality, teamwork, accountability, and personalized service. Provide day-to-day leadership for the dining room, ensuring service standards, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction are consistently achieved. Partner closely with culinary and service teams to ensure smooth execution and an elevated dining experience. Coordinate intimate private dinners, resident events, and special celebrations, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully executed. Gather guest feedback and identify opportunities to enhance service, strengthen relationships, and improve the overall resident experience. Uphold dining room presentation, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality standards. Support daily administrative responsibilities, reservation management, and guest engagement initiatives. Develop and cultivate relationships with residents, guests, concierge teams, and community partners to identify opportunities for private dining experiences, celebrations, and special events. Promote and sell private dining, social gatherings, and exclusive event experiences, helping drive participation, engagement, and revenue growth. Conduct site tours and host prospective clients, showcasing the dining room, hospitality offerings, and event capabilities. Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to design customized event experiences that align with resident preferences and Club standards. Prepare event proposals, coordinate booking details, and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the planning and execution process. Build awareness of club programming, special events, and dining experiences through resident engagement, relationship-building, and concierge partnerships. Monitor event performance, guest feedback, participation trends, and revenue results, identifying opportunities to enhance offerings and increase event utilization. Partner with leadership to establish event sales goals, support revenue initiatives, and contribute to the continued growth of The One Club experience. Maintain accurate event records, inquiries, contracts, and follow-up communications to support a seamless guest and client experience. What We're Looking For Experience in hospitality, restaurants, luxury residential communities, private clubs, hotels, or guest relations environments. Passion for creating personalized experiences and building long-term guest relationships. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a naturally warm, welcoming presence. Experience working with repeat clientele, members, residents, or VIP guests is highly valued. Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver thoughtful, proactive service. Experience leading, coaching, and developing front-of-house teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Collaborative approach to working with culinary, service, concierge, and property management teams. Comfort balancing leadership responsibilities with active participation in service.
