About the Role We are a leading mattress manufacturer looking for a Quilt Operator to run our automated quilting machines, producing the fabric covers used in our mattresses. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced production role suited to someone who takes pride in precision work and wants to be paid for their output.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor multi-needle quilting machines
Load and align fabric, foam, and batting layers to spec
Inspect quilted panels for pattern accuracy, tension, and defects
Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments
Meet daily production quotas while maintaining quality standards
Handle rolls of material and finished panels (frequent lifting, 30–50+ lbs)
Maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA guidelines
Accurately track output for piece-rate pay

Requirements

Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move materials for a full shift
Mechanical aptitude — comfortable learning machine settings and basic maintenance
Strong attention to detail (pattern/tension consistency matters)
Reliable, punctual, able to work in a team production environment
Prior manufacturing, textile, or machine-operation experience a plus, not required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
